Point and click western Dead Horizon is out now on Steam.
The developers describe the free game as a “short and dirty point and click western themed adventure game” featuring Bonnie Starr, a “former farmgirl turned infamous pistoleer as she attempts to gain redemption at the end of a gun.”
Will Dead Horizon ever be a contender for our best PC games list?
As reported by Siliconera, you don’t have to look far to see Dead Horizon’s light gun influences, and the team behind it admit they took their inspiration from the “machismo focused story lines on masculinity, murder, and guns,” amongst other things.
The feature list boasts of “out of date graphics, out of date soundtrack, classic 4:3 ratio”, and promises you can “kill some people that maybe don’t deserve it.”
The dev team also want you to know that the game is “100% free! And very, very short.” Is that a good thing now? I can’t keep up.
Dead Horizon is out now for the low, low price of nothing.
While we’re on the subject of Westerns, Take-Two still won’t confirm if Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC.
