PC is the best place to play Destiny 2, but that’s in spite of a few technical problems. A hotfix intended to solve such problems has introduced some new ones… which are now also getting a hotfix.
Get ready for the raid’s Prestige mode this week with our Destiny 2 leveling guide.
After launch a couple of weeks ago, Clan rosters were failing to show, and a memory leak was causing performance degradation after playing for an extended period of time. Hotfix 1.0.6.1 went live on Wednesday last week, solving these issues, but introducing a new one: frame rate stuttering.
We are actively investigating reports of Destiny 2 PC frame rate stuttering after accepting Hotfix 1.0.6.1.

Another hotfix – 1.0.6.2 – is due today, and aims to solve the new problem. Bungie normally do such maintenance around 10:00 Pacific (18:00 GMT), so you may need to restart the game and download the patch around then.
Tomorrow (11/6) Destiny 2 PC will receive Hotfix 1.0.6.2 to address “hitching” issues introduced in Hotfix 1.0.6.1: https://t.co/Ocy0lEVMfq
