Deus Ex: Mankind Divided currently free on Steam. Eidos Montreal’s immersive sim is also on sale for a huge 75% off until Thursday, October 26.

If you’re planning on trying it out, here’s everything you need to know about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Mankind Divided, the sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, scored reasonably well, but those scores didn’t match its sales. According to Steamspy, the game has sold fewer than a million copies on Steam.

So in what may be an attempt to boost those numbers, the game’s currently available for free, allowing you to try it out at no risk. And if you happen to decide it’s your kind of thing, you can get hold of it at a big discount. Until 9pm BST on Thursday, you can pick it up for just £9.99.

Sadly, it’s likely that whatever the result of the sale, it’s come too late to save the Deus Ex series, which has been shelved in favour of Square Enix’s collaboration with Marvel.
