Diablo 3’s score is nominated for Hollywood Music in Media Award

As well as infecting and corrupting children’s minds, games are even finding their way into legitimate award ceremonies: where will this madness end? With games a respected cultural medium? Not if I have anything to say about it.

Yup, the exceedingly well produced Diablo 3 score has tricked its way through to the nominee list for the Hollywood Music in Media Award, HMMA (pronounced: Hmm-ah).

Gosugamersspotted this one, it’s been nominated in the category of “ORIGINAL SCORE -VIDEO GAME”, we’re assuming it implies “best”, else all the nominees are winners, surely. Those other nomineesare, according to Hmm-ah’s website:
