Splash Damage’s multiplayer shooter Dirty Bomb has recruited a new mercenary, the Australian SAS operative Redeye. The name comes from the IR eye patch he wears for exceptional vision when battling through clouds of smoke.
Redeye uses the Grandeur SR, a single-shot rifle that sits neatly between the Dreiss AR and PDP-70. He can hurl smoke grenades to confuse the enemy, and then switch on his IR goggles to ambush them with accurate fire. Redye also has the Kukri knife – a blade that’s able to brutalise enemies in just two hits. Nasty.
