SWAT simulator Door Kickers has received a promotion from developer KillHouse Games in the form of a shiny badge announcing its upgrade to version 1.03. The update comes with all the usual bug fixes that you’d expect, but also something much more interesting: a brand new campaign set out on a cruise liner.
The “Terror at Sea” campaign also comes with a little challenge from KillHouse. The first person to send in screenshot proof that they’ve completed the campaign on Iron Man difficulty bags themselves a trooper portrait and a Door Kickers T-Shirt. The challenge makes it sound that, despite being “a short one”, the Terror at Sea campaign will be fairly difficult.
Other new features include 7 new weapons, stat comparisons between equipped and new items, a new “Delta” Go Code for easier planning, a tutorial on sniping, and a key to cycle between targets as a sniper.
Fixes cover such niggles as soldiers going through doors immediately after lock picking them, troopers kicking doors whilst looking the wrong way, and broken backgrounds on maps entered without intel.
The full details can be found on the Door Kickers Steam Community blog post, which features the full changelog and the person to contact if you’ve managed to finish Terror at Sea on Iron Man.
