German eSports mammoths Mousesports secured their place in the final of Valve’s annual Dota tournament in a 3-1 victory over dd.Dota last night. They’ll have a shot at The International 3’s prize pool, now the largest ever for a single event.

Their French opponents did manage to secure a victory of their own in the third round, but a sustained comeback was not to be – mousesports took the fourth game and the Western title within 42 minutes.
Mousesports have earned their place as one of the top sixteen teams to compete the Seattle final on August 7-11. dd.Dota, meanwhile, will fight for a Wild Card spot against the TBD runners-up of the International’s Eastern qualifiers, the first stages of which begin today.
