The Dota 2 ESL One in Frankfurt this year is on track to being the biggest eSports event in history: with over 50,000 spectators all jammed into a football stadium. Right now the EU qualifiers grand finals is live right now, with Team Empire and Cloud9 fighting for a place in the tournament, and their chances of a whopping $190,000 which is increasing every day thanks to the tournament compendium.

There’s only three more qualifier places left for the ESL One, and only one of these two teams will snatch it. Both Team Empire and Cloud9 are well respected: having both been directly invited to The International, which as of now has a $6,000,000 prize pool and rising. Compared to the ESL One prize pool it might seem slim, but to be a part of the biggest eSports event in history is almost priceless.
