Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of The Year Edition's boxed copy will have download codes for DLC

Three days ago I wrote a news post about Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition coming out in October. Someone in the comments told me to go outside. I still haven't.

Why would I go outside when I can sit in my house downloading bits of DLC all day?

Whether you buy the GoTY Edition on disc or digitally that's what you'll be doing, as all of the add-ons won't be on the disc.

Available from October 6, the box will contain only the Dragon Age Inquisition disc, plus access codes to downloads of the Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent and Trespasser expansions. The three item packs will also be available as codes. That's a lot of codes.

You also get codes for all Deluxe Edition extras, plus the Spoils of Avvar and Qunari item packs.

Does anyone buy discs on PC anymore? Let us know in the comments.

 Cheers, Eurogamer.

The last time I bought a physical copy of a PC game was Guild Wars 2 on the day of launch, and before that I can't even remember. It could have been my very first PC game purchase, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast for all I know.

What they're doing is a tad ridiculous, in my opinion. I realize it's a crazy notion to think of people out there without internet access, but they're basically locking game content behind a required internet connection. What's the reason for it? Laziness? I can't even begin to guess because it's so absurd.

I do for 2 reasons.

1)Shitty internet

2)I like collecting boxes

This is great news for me... for sure some people in the key selling websites will sell the separate dlc codes for a cheaper price than the current one on Origin, allowing me to complete my DLC collection without having to buy the game again...
