Dungeons 3 brings bigger maps, more traps and better RTS to modern Dungeon Keeper

Dungeons 3 release date

If you have three minutes of time, Dungeons 3 would like to tell you all about how it’s improved since the last iteration, via the calming, Stanleytacular tones of Kevan Brighting. More of everything and an evil elf seems to be the long and short of it.

On top of additional ways to endlessly torture the forces of good – something we all need on a Friday, I think we can agree – the folks down at Realmforge Studios have also completely reworked the overworld RTS portion. Looks like they’ve added really big dragons and snakes, which I can get behind wholeheartedly.

Thalya, the aforementioned elf, also plays a big role in all that. Brighting implies she’s not fully on-side yet, but what’s the worst that can happen when you’re an all-conquering evil overlord and your top lieutenant maybe isn’t as committed as you are?

Game’s out October 13, currently on a 15% discount for pre-orders, taking it down to £25.49 / $33.99 / €31.44. There’s a beta available if you grab it now, running all the way up to the game’s launch, along with various other pre-order incentives.
