F1 2019 releases today (two months ahead of the kind of release window that we’ve come to expect from the series), but before you take your place on the podium (or at the back of the starting grid), it’s time to check out what the critics made of the game, all thanks to our F1 2019 review round-up.

For the most part, it looks like F1 2019 gets a big old green light from the reviewers. At time of writing, the game boasts an average score of 85 on Opencritic. Over on Metacritic, things are even more impressive – there’s another 85 for the PS4 version of the game, but the PC edition hits the lofty highs of 87.
