Fortnite telescopes: where to dance at different telescope locations

We’ve been scoping out the map for some easy to find telescopes for this Fortnite challenge

Where can you dance at different Fortnite telescopes? For this week’s set of challenges we’re storm chasing, so telescope-based challenges make sense as what else would you use to check out those big whirly boys without getting too close? This is Fortnite, though, so we’re not actually using those telescopes, we’re dancing near them instead.

We’re not given too much information on where we can find these telescopes, which is part of the, ahem, Fortnite challenge. Luckily, knowing the locations of them makes this spectacularly easy, provided you can survive the gunfire from other players. It’s a nice change of pace, as some challenges require specific skins or emotes for completion, like the Fortnite ‘dance behind the DJ booth at a dance club with the Yonder outfit’ challenge.

You only need to visit three Fortnite telescopes to complete this challenge, and death won’t reset your progress. So don’t worry if you get cut down. Throughout this guide we’ll go over the three telescope locations that we reckon you’ll have the easiest time getting to. So, here’s where to dance at different telescopes in Fortnite.

As you load into your game, it can be wise to pull your map out and plot your course. The following list is in no particular order, and you’ll likely want to wait and see the flight course of the Battle Bus and react accordingly.

It’s worth noting again, that death won’t hinder you here. So don’t worry if the zone catches you out, or if someone mows you down with their guns.

  • Southwest of Moisty Palms – Our first telescope can be found in the desert in the southeast part of the map. Head southeast of the new Moisty Palms area and keep your eyes peeled for a small mountain – that’s where the telescope is sitting.
  • East of Shifty Shafts – Next up we’re leaving the sands of the desert behind to trudge through some snow. Head east of Shifty Shafts and you’ll find another mountain with a telescope.
  • West of Dusty Depot – We’re finishing off the list of Fortnite telescopes just west of Dusty Depot. Once you’re there, head to the uppermost part of the hill and you’ll find another telescope to dance in front of.

And that’s where to dance at different telescopes in Fortnite.

It’s a good challenge to get under your belt as you can do it quite quickly, and it doesn’t require any skins or emotes.
