Frank Ocean has his own GTA Online radio station, with songs from Jay-Z and Marvin Gaye

Doomsday Heist

Frank Ocean now has his own radio station in GTA Online. The game’s latest update, Doomsday Heist, has added ‘blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM’ to the game’s music roster.

Grand Theft Auto V is the best-selling videogame of all time in the US.

The new station is based on Ocean’s Beats 1 show ‘blonded Radio’, and will be helmed by that show’s three hosts, although Ocean himself will occasionally talk on the show and make his own music selections. The stations songs will be made up of six of Ocean’s previously-release titles, as well as music by JAY-Z, Aphex Twin, and Marvin Gaye, among others.

The new update also brings the first heist to GTA Online since the first batch in 2015. As you can potentially tell from the name, there’s something of an apocalyptic tone to the update. In the trailer, which you can watch above, it quickly becomes apparent that the heist itself, which takes players inside Mount Chiliad, is about preventing the end of the world as we know it.

In order to help you pull that off, there’s the usual round of new weapons and vehicles, including a tank, and honest-to-goodness flying cars. If you’re feeling murderous but also extremely wealthy, you can also now call in an Orbital Strike on another player, although doing so will set you back a cool half a million, at the very least.

The Doomsday Heist, as well as all of its weapons and vehicles, and Frank Ocean’s new radio station, are all available now for free.
