Boss your own biker gang in GTA Online update

GTA Online bikers

Ever wanted to be the head of a biker gang? Here at the PCGamesN offices, few are the days when the big boys don’t roll into work in their black leathers, rocking a full on quiff and covered head to toe in tattoos. It’s just the bike riding part we can’t quite get to grips with.

That may soon be a thing of the past, however, with Rockstar revealing the next big update to GTA Online will focus on Motorcycle Clubs.

The studio claims players will soon be able to form and lead their own Motorcycle Clubs for up to eight players, with new roles – from fresh Prospects to club Presidents – also introduced as a result.

Most interestingly, the update will unlock new competitive and co-op gameplay, as well as new motorcycles and properties.

“Beyond a range of opportunities to climb the ranks within a gang and build lucrative businesses as a formidable MC, Bikers also includes a selection of appropriately-themed new modes for bikers of all kinds, along with new weapons, styles, tattoos and features to make this a huge addition to the world of GTA Online,” offered Rockstar, presumably while revving their engines at the traffic lights.

“And while loyal MCs will fight to expand their foothold alongside black-collar CEOs and Organizations, there’s always another opportunity to make your mark just around the corner. Keep an eye out for high-level, high-risk vehicle based business ventures to spring up across Los Santos and Blaine County soon.”

Said new properties for the bikers will include MC Clubhouses with a custom Biker mechanic, as well as venues and what Rockstar describes as “seedy business ventures”. I’m guessing they don’t mean a dodgy curry house with a bad public health rating.

No release date has been given for the Bikers update, but it looks set to hit PC soon. We’ll keep an eye on it folks, don’t worry.
