We’re only ten days away from the long, long awaited release of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V on PC. Yes, for real this time! To help me convince you, Rockstar have announced that the most eager of their fans can start to preload the game via Steam and Rockstar Warehouse on April 7th.
The hot news comes straight from Rockstar’s support site via their FAQ. “Yes, pre-loads via Rockstar Warehouse and Steam will be available on April 7th.” Rockstar confirmed. “We will update this page with an exact time as soon as that information is available.
“If you pre-ordered GTAV from a digital retailer other than Rockstar Warehouse or Steam, please contact your retailer’s customer support departments for details on pre-loads.”
Steam puts a 65GB minimum hard drive as part of the GTA 5 system requirements, so you might need to do some spring cleaning to accommodate all the high-res texture goodness.
If your GTA V hunger has still not been sated, you can check out the debut PC trailer at a stunning 60 frames-per-second right here.
