Well that didn’t take long. After a brief titillating tease, Blizzard have announced that there’s a new cast of heroes on the way for their online collectible card game: Hearthstone. While they won’t be any new additional classes, these new heroes will be alternate options of the existing ones, sporting new animations and voice lines.
The first to be revealed is dwarven Mountain King – Magni Bronzebeard, who will share the reins of the Warrior class.
The new heroes will feature brand new artwork, as well as unique hero power animations and voiced emotes. They’ll also each come with their own themed card-back too. Here’s Magni Bronzebeard – representing the Warrior class – in action:
New heroes will cost $9.99 each from the in-game shop, but there’s no mention as to when they’ll be available. Expect more hero reveals over the next few days/weeks – who are you hoping for with the rest of the classes?
