Original April 26, 2017:Hearts of Iron IV’s Death or Dishonor expansion focuses on the countries of Europe caught between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. As the title of the DLC suggests, you’ll have to make the tough choices.

Death of Dishonor is launching at $9.99 and is also included in the expansion pass. There’s a trailer above if you fancy a watch.

In the DLC, there are new National Focus trees for Hungary, Romania, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia, where you’ll contend with physical and moral conundrums in equal measure. You’ll be free to change the course of history.

Alongside the launch of the DLC, Paradox are giving players a free update. The headline feature revamps air gameplay, making it easier and more satisfying to dominate the skies.

Elsewhere, players will be able to recycle old units, converting them into something else, and you’ll also be free to turn captured enemy vehicles and gear to your cause. You’ll also be able to license military tech, so you can take advantage of other nations’ advances and even sell your own.

This comes with new music, art, and an improved world map. Death or Dishonor is listed as “coming soon”.
