Blizzard’s announced that Heroes of the Storm will officially be coming out of beta and into your hands as a fully-fledged complete game on 2 June, 2015.
Before its official launch Blizzard plan on opening up Heroes of the Storm to everyone in an open beta that kicks off on 19 May.
Pretty much everything newsworthy was up there in the title. I stretched it out a little by referring to the open beta but at this point I’m running out of… wait, no, we’ve got a statement from a press release:
“With its focus on team play and fast-paced fun, Heroes of the Storm is a fresh take on a very popular genre,” said Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime. “We’ve built Heroes of the Storm in a way that makes it accessible to new players, but also challenging enough for veterans who really want to put their skills to the test. We can’t wait to see what Heroes brings to the co-op and competitive scenes once the Nexus opens up to everyone.”
Heroes is currently still in closed beta where Blizzard are adding new maps and, most recently, new characters, like Sylvanas Windrunner.
