It’s dark, it’s murky, everyone is dressed strangely and heavy metal music is thudding away, drowning out the noise of absolutely everything else. Add to that a sense of a strange smell and the sight of a few bizarre creatures floating above the ground and I must either be watching the new trailer for Impire or I’m back in that heavy metal club I used to visit as a kid.
I’ve taken another look and I think I’m sure now. I reckon this really is the Agincourt in Camberley. That’d explain why the floors are so sticky with… is that blood?
Impire is a game of dungeon construction, but what we see here looks more like magic, melee and quite a bit of headbanging tomfoolery. Well, I suppose it is Friday.
