There are more than 90 million people playing Unity-made games on Facebook. No wonder both the makers of Unity and Facebook are looking for ways to speed up the process of getting new games up onto the site. Today at Unity’s developer conference, Unite, the game engine developer announced that they’ve developed a new SDK that makes bringing games to Facebook significantly easier.

The announcement blog post makes the whole thing sound astonishingly easy.

If you’ve already got your game up and running on mobile then all you need to do is add one line of code, fill in a couple of fields detailing the game, and plug in the URL of the game object and you’re done.

Unity have also added a load of features that are specific to Facebook so developers can take advantage of things like likes, shares, and requests.

Expect to see a ton of new games appearing on Facebook very quickly.
