Gone Home to be released 15th August

The Fullbright Company’s indie darling Gone Home will come home soon. The narrative-led puzzler releases on 15th August.

For $19.99 you’ll be picking up one of the most acclaimed indies of recent years. To name some of the awards it has been nominated: IGF for Excellence in Narrative, IGF Honorable Mention for Excellence in Audio, and the Seamus McNally Grand Prize.

The game focuses on a 90s household, with the player exploring the house attempting to decipher the fate of the Greenbriar family through the examination of items left lying around. It might sound like mundane territory, but everything points to an art-house game of the very top tier.

Featuring a soundtrack by underground band Riot Grrrl and some terrific voice acting, you be able to pick it up directly from Fullbright themselves, or on Steam.
