Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded set to release in June: “Re-made, expanded and enhanced”

UID Entertainment have announced that Al Lowe’s “king of innuendo” is set to return in June, dubbed as Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded on PC, Mac and Linux. The original game, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, was released over 26 years ago. The remake boasts new hi-res textures and a completely re-written musical score from Grammy-nominated and BAFTA-winning composer, Austin Wintory.

It’s life began on Kickstarter, where it raised an impressive $655,000, smashing its funding goal. As much as a re-make, the game still stays true to its roots with the help of original creator Al Lowe and original writer Josh Mandel. Hi-res, hand-drawn animation will replace the dated graphics of it’s 1987 original, and feature expanded puzzles, locations, humour and gameplay. Creator Al Lowe is even pitching in with some saxaphone tunes.
