Small children aren’t often the heroes of games outside of Nintendo-land – and their hording of children is a little suspect if you ask me – so Pid’s protagonist, a small boy with a blue cap and red wellington boots stands out. Though in a game with Ghibli-esque robots in tuxedos and sporting moustaches he’s not the only break from the norm.

Somewhat lovely, no?
As a game Pid doesn’t look like it offers much new: a light stealth platformer, where your toys can be used to avoid the gaze of sentries. But that style, it hooked me in from the first few seconds of the video.
