With Halloween just around corner it seems a good time to start playing some scary games. While it’s not the most terrifying game out there, Killing Floor 2 is a cracking place to get started on a horror-game-athon. It should get the blood pumping. Especially as it just got a new Halloween Horrors update.
If you’re not familiar with Killing Floor 2, firstly, have you been hiding under a rock, and secondly, listen up. It’s a first-person shooter that concentrates on co-op play for up to six players. Together, you try to survive waves of zeds as they charge at you, fling horrible liquids your way, and generally try to batter you to deaeth. There’s also a 12-player versus survival mode if you want to mix it up.
Now, as to the update, it contains a new Holdout map with five achievements to pursue, a new boss called – get this – King Fleshpound, alongside his zed cronies the Quarterpounders. There are also two new weapons to check out, a new dosh vault system, new and spooky skins, and loads more. You’ll have to check out Halloween Horrors for yourself to discover it all.
