Riot have announced a new All-Star event to take place in Los Angeles this December. Between 10-13th, the best-known players will meet at the NA LCS Studio in LA to play in front of fans for fame and fun.
In a change-up from the 2014 format, this year’s All-Star will see fans vote for five players to represent their region as a “dream team”. These five teams – representing the American LCS, European LCS, the LCK, LPL, and LMS – will be joined by the top team from the International Wild Card. The six teams will be split into Team Fire and Team Ice, based on their region’s performance at the Worlds tournament. Voting for the teams will open globally in November, and details on how to vote will be revealed closer to the time.
There will also be an International Wild Card All-Star, which will be held just before the 2015 All-Star, in Australia this November. The winners of this tournament will represent IWC at the All-Stars.
