Life is Strange: Before the Storm is getting a physical release. The vinyl edition will coincide with the release of the game’s final, bonus episode, ‘Farewell’.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm was one of the best games of 2017.
The PC vinyl edition contains all three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, as well as a bonus episode starring the first game’s protagonist, Max Caulfield, with original voice actress Ashly Burch returning to play Chloe. The vinyl edition also includes Mixtape Mode, which allows you to design your own playlist from the game’s soundtrack, and an outfit pack.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, the vinyl edition also comes with a four-disc vinyl version of the soundtrack, which was written and performed by UK indie band Daughter. If you prefer your music transmitted in a more convenient method however, there’s also a soundtrack CD. Rounding out the special edition are an artbook, a presentation box, and a digital download of Life is Strange's first episode.
The vinyl edition is exclusively available on the Square Enix store, which you can find a link to here, and will set you back $69.99 (around £50). If you pre-order, you’ll also get a Chloe and Rachel figurine, and the ‘Classic Chloe’ outfit. The vinyl edition will be available from March 6 in the US and March 9 in Europe.
