Marvel Heroes, the Diablo-style MMO based in the comic universe, is having an open beta this weekend, and you’re all invited. To commemorate the release of the third Iron Man film, players will also be able to play as shellhead himself: Tony Stark.
Previous open beta weekends have granted players access to Daredevil, Storm, Hawkeye, Thing, and Scarlet Witch, but this coming weekend offers players a team of the most popular Marvel heroes, including Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man. If the idea of playing as a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist does gets you all hot under the Iron Collar, there’s a trailer below.
Should you wish to charge up your repulsors, you can soar into the beta from 7.00pm PDT on Friday 3rd May, or the early hours of the following morning should you be a British native.
Saving innocents from Super Villains is only possible with a Marvel Heroes account, which you can grab over at the Marvel Heroes website, where you can also download the client.
