The latest Minecraft snapshot doesn’t bring anything huge to the table but it does make the game’s horses better, so, treat it as you will. I’m going to consider it the best thing since Hawaiian seeds.
As well as the improvements to horses there are bug fixes and a new internal chat system to play with.
The horse update allows you to control the saddle/armour/inventory of your noble steed, giving you more freedom over how exactly it will handle your baggage.
There’s also been some under the covers work been done to the new Resource Pack system, it’s still not ready for release but it’s getting there.
