Ever play MU Online? It’s a MMORPG made by Korean developers Webzen that has been popular since 2003. It now has a follow-up called MU Legend that is currently in open beta. You can play it for yourself right now by creating an account on the official website. But before you do that, hang around, as we have a special prize you can win.
First, let’s explain what MU Legend is all about. It’s an MMORPG, like its predecessor, that is geared towards fluid hack-and-slash combat and should play smoothly on lower-end systems as well as higher-end ones.
As you’d expect from an MMO, MU Legend caters to both solo and party play, letting you get lost in its world – MU Online veterans should find plenty of familiar finds in the game’s lore-filled lands. You’ll be caught up in the endless battle between the world of MU and Pandemonium.
Most important, however, are the game’s current four classes and how much you can customise them. On offer are the Dark Lord, Whisperer, Blader, and War Mage. They all have powerful area-of-effect skills from the start so that combat is action-heavy and leveling isn’t so much of a chore – bring down multiple foes at once.
As you do level, you can choose to be more of a lone wolf or a party support, and the gear you find as you fight your way through dungeons like the Blood Castle and Endless Tower will further help you solidify that position.
