Have you ever wanted to create your own videogame? To be more specific: would you like to be the proud author of an action-RPG? Now is the time to make it happen. You don’t need to know how to code but you will need to channel your inner creative spirit.
MyWorld is a new game creator that uses a simple drag-and-drop editor to let you create action-RPGs. It has nine world themes and over 200 unique items for you to toy around with – place undead armies and villagers around your world as you please. You can even come up with original quests to pursue across the world.
Being an action-RPG creator, MyWorld’s combat is also an important feature, with it focusing on learning enemy timings and making use of special abilities to smash up bones and flesh. There are pre-made adventures designed to test your skills but, if you feel the need, you can up the difficulty when making your own.
MyWorld has only been available on Steam Early Access a matter of weeks but it’s already picking up a dedicated community. Its best feature is the multiplayer: you can team up or fight against friends, and invite each other to play through your creations. It also makes use of Steam Workshop to make sharing your adventures easy. Now, we’re giving you the chance to be part of the game’s community without having to spend a penny.
