This means you can instantly stream Just Cause 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, along with over 60 other games for just $7.99 a month. All of the heavy lifting is done on the cloud, which means you get all the fun without any of the fuss.

Not familiar with the two games? Join us as we take a closer look at each game and explore some of the reasons why you should be excited that they’re on GeForce NOW.

We’ll start you off with the best reason of all: Just Cause 2 is currently available to experience on GeForce NOW and Deus Ex: Human Revolution will launch very soon on February 7. Current SHIELD TV owners should also download Software Upgrade 5.0 if they haven’t already. It adds some incredible improvements to your device, including Android OS 7.0 Nougat and support for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, making it a truly worthwhile download.

Just Cause 2

Every game in the Just Cause series is worth playing, but for many fans, the second title represents the pinnacle of the franchise. Building on the solid foundation laid by the well-received debut installment, Just Cause 2 offers gamers a superb open-world action experience starring super agent Rico Rodriguez who’s on a mission to overthrow the dictator of Panau.

The game lets you roam around the idyllic island nation, sowing the seeds of justice with a huge arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and gadgets. The signature item in your inventory is the grappling hook, which lets you pull of all sorts of shenanigans that’s become the stuff of Internet legend. (Look up the clips on YouTube if you don’t believe us.) You also have a catalog of moves that any action hero would be envious of: parachuting from planes, standing on top of moving cars, and dual-wielding weapons are just a few noteworthy examples.

As with other open-world games, you have the freedom to go anywhere and do anything. Icons representing various points of interest dot your mini-map, and you can choose how to spend your time. If you choose to focus on the campaign, you’ll work to dismantle the dictator’s oppressive political machine and bring peace back to the island nation. Of course, you can just roam around and blow stuff up if that’s more your style.

Offering hours of gameplay and jaw-dropping moments galore, Just Cause 2 is a non-stop action movie. Being able to play it on GeForce NOW is a fantastic value, and makes this one of the most affordable island vacations you’ll ever take.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Eidos Montreal faced a monumental task when they set out to design Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The original Deus Ex is still revered as one of the best games ever created, so fan expectations were sky high. The team did a fantastic job, however, delivering a game that not only lives up to the original but takes the franchise in a bold new direction.

You enter the game’s dystopian future world as Adam Jensen, an agent of the cutting-edge biotech firm, Sarif Industries. After an attack on your employer’s headquarters leaves you on death’s door, your body is upgraded with the latest augmentation tech. Armed with your newfound abilities, you track down the people responsible for the attack. But in classic Deus Ex fashion, you stumble upon a conspiracy that’s far more insidious and complex than you could have imagined.

The story of Deus Ex is one of the main draws, but the gameplay is also impressive. Like the original, Human Revolution tasks you with various missions that you can complete in a myriad of ways. Say you need to infiltrate a heavily fortified compound. You can pull out your guns and shoot your way in; activate your stealth augments and sneak past the guards; or use your augmented legs to jump onto to the roof from a nearby building and enter through the open skylight.

Enabling this type of freedom is the game’s upgrade system. You will unlock new abilities and augments as you play, and you can tailor your choices to suit your style. This means you can become a master hacker, a combat-focused bruiser, a deadly ninja and more. Human Revolution also looks fantastic on GeForce NOW. Eidos Montreal took great pains to create their world, and the cyberpunk infused design really pops off the screen.

Human Revolution is a must-play title that fans and newcomers alike will love. GeForce NOW members owe it to themselves to check out the next step in the evolution of one of the most popular video game franchises around.

Just Cause 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution are both available as part of your GeForce NOW membership. For just $7.99 a month, SHIELD owners can stream over 60 hit games through the cloud. Best of all, your first month is free.
