Peggle 2’s announcement at E3 2013 was something of a damp squib, with the nice man from PopCap oh so earnestly punching the air in a dead silent auditorium before immediately shuffling off stage and wondering how many people just saw his belly button. They were expecting people to rush the stage, to start clawing the screens apart trying to get at the pachinko sequel. Instead they got smiles of recognition and polite applause. Hardly the Extreme Fever to which PopCap are accustomed! The developer is rewriting history, however. Here’s how that Peggle 2 announcement went down in their heads.
