E3 is going to be a big event for Rise of the Tomb Raider, where after a year of teases and waiting, we will finally be able to watch gameplay of the second game in the rebooted series. Until the big event itself, we have this new pre-rendered trailer to tide us over. As most Tomb Raider trailers seem to be, this one puts Lara through the wringer a bit.
The narration has Lara talking about the world’s great unanswered questions and the usual other explorer talk, whilst the visuals see her climbing the frozen side of a mountain as she seeks sanctuary in a cave. Looks bloody hard work. Thankfully we’ll only have to push keys to achieve this, rather than rock climb ourselves.
Gameplay will we shown at the Xbox E3 Conference on June 15th. Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an Xbox One exclusive for a while, but should turn up on PC after a currently unknown period of time.
