Step 3) Enjoy humongous gnome statue.
That’s really all there is to it. The first bit’s easy – I’ve know so because I’ve seen films, and everybody’s either in America or on their way, VISA restrictions willing. The second part will require a discerning eye and a small amount of money. But after that, you’re laughing. Who doesn’t enjoy gnomes?
With your SimCity Attractions Set code, you’ll unlock a selection of enormous, tourist-placating static objects: a Giant Garden Gnome, Dolly the Dinosaur, Llarry the Llama, MaxisMan, and the World’s Largest Ball of Twine.
The statues will increase the happiness of your low wealth Sims, who are easily pleased, and bring in all three wealth classes of tourists into your city. But, you know, while stocks last. Toothpaste gets bought by non-SimCity players too.
The halitosis crowd might say that this is all getting a bit silly. That even the Nissan charging station was a step too far. To those people, I can only point out that the nadir of minty-fresh product placement was celebrated long ago.
