The game looks as you remember it, just slicker, sharper, and fuller. The developers are staying faithful to Sonic, but adding new twists.
As you can see in the Green Hill Zone video above, there are now more routes through the iconic level. In the stage afterwards, the developers have added in ziplines, but it’s all in the name of going quick.
That’s if you’re Sonic, but you can play as Knuckles and Tails too, if you want. Who wants that, though? Really?
