Free Steam keys: Win one of 50 codes for newly-released RTS/RPG hybrid Spellforce 3!

SpellForce 3

The third installment in the SpellForce series has arrived and we're giving you the chance to win a copy. No, we're not mages performing an astounding act of magic, we're just generous and have 50 Steam keys courtesy of THQ Nordic for this brand new blend of RTS and RPG. Want one? Find out how you can get yourself a copy of SpellForce 3 below.

If you're not familiar with the SpellForce series then the one thing you need to know is that it's a huge ongoing effort to combine the RTS and RPG genres on a large scale. You create your hero, build bases, raise and army, and then clash swords and dodge fire in the real-time tactical battles.

This third entry series proves a 30+ hour campaign set in a warring fantasy land where elves, orcs, and humans duke it out. The campaign can be played by yourself, or you can bring along a friend to play it in co-op - what's really cool is that the companions you pick not only vary your party's strengths and abilities, they also change the narrative.

Plus, there are online battles to test your skills against other players afterwards. There are classic PvP modes as well as a Domination mode, and most intriguing is a co-op variant in which you pick a faction and then enter larger battles against each other. Plenty to do, then.
