Listening in on Activision Blizzard’s Third Quarter Calendar 2012 Results Conference Call (as exciting as the name suggests) we overheard the mega publisher announced Heart of the Swarm will be aiming for a release in the first half of 2013.
More than two years since the release of Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty it seemed likely that Heart of the Swarm would be releasing in the next year. Particularly as, with Mists of Pandaria and Diablo 3 both out in the past six months, Blizzard’s only otherannounced project isBlizzard All-Stars, meaning their release calender was wide open.
So that news again is that Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is set for release in the first half of 2013, not 2012.
