Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows trailer shows why reptiles shouldn’t be given ninja weapons

Teenage mutant ninja turtles out of the shadows pc trailer

It’s just not a safe idea to arm a creature who by, process of evolution, harbours ill will towards mankind. Turtles, more than any other cold-blooded water/land animal dislikes humanity, they envy our warm blood, our insulating hair, our deft handling of surreal humour (turtle stand up comics are universally abysmal). Yet Activision have seen fit to bring the once comic-bound cast of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to our interactive screen.

And, as shown in the trailer below, they’re angry. Luckily, for now, we can distract them with a plethora of hired goons.

Well this is incredibly awkward. Julian clearly doesn’t know the difference between amphibians and reptiles. He has been vigorously disciplined and the post has been updated to remove his idiocy.

It’s a short trailer and only with a smidgen of in-game footage but, as Eurogamer point out, developer Red Fly Studios has opted for a realistic art style. While cel-shaded may have been the more natural choice, the disappointing thing about the look of the game is that it seems Activision are aiming for a young audience and so have dropped the bloody violence that was on show in the comics.

Still, who knows, we may be lucky and the thing will be full of curse words and sex scenes, y’know those things that make a game mature.

Out of the Shadows is due for releasethis summer.
