Telltale tease what’s coming next for The Walking Dead

I think almost everyone has recovered from the emotional final episode of The Walking Dead, so rather than looking back with sadness on those events we’re all scouting ahead for signs of other survivors. Telltale have begun to tease what’s in store for fans this week with a selection of posts on Vine.

The three posts that have appeared online offer glimpses of new characters that we can assume we’ll meet in upcoming episodes of The Walking Dead. The first to be revealed is Vince, a bearded chap who looks to be in his mid-late twenties, photographed in a bar. Other than his photograph and name, there’s nothing to give any hints on his place within the wider narrative or his character. Only the Vine post title adds any detail: Day 2.

Following the reveal of Vince, a few days later a Vine of Bonnie was uploaded. She’s photographed posing in front of a white building that appears to be the United States Capitol, suggesting that perhaps she likes to travel. Again, no other details are present other than the Vine post title, this time Day 220.

Today has seen Telltale show off Russell, a teenager who appears to have graduated high school. This time the day is 184.

There is no explanation as to what these numbered days mean, but a logical guess would be something to do with how many days since the zombie outbreak.

Season 2 isn’t expected until later this year, but we know that some The Walking Dead content is due before then to bridge the two seasons. It seems likely that these teasers are linked to that, so expect some news on when we can next dive into The Walking Dead’s world sometime in the near future.
