The Binding of Isaac creative lead Edmund McMillen has been teasing a new project which he’s working on in collaboration with Closure programmer Tyler Glaiel.

In the teaser video, shown off on the developer’s blog, the player guides a shadowy figure through a cylinder of death, dodging spike traps and fighting a boss.
Speaking to Eurogamer, McMillen said they have “no name yet” so they’re just leaking out early teases for now. “All I can say is I think most would describe it as a Mega Man / Isaac-like, but a platformer with really tight controls,” McMillen said.
The unnamed game is being developed alongside puzzle RPG The Legend of Bum-bo, though McMillan isn’t sure which will come out first.
“Deving both at once not sure what one will be out first, but I’m quite happy with the pace of both currently they seem neck and neck but we will most likely push one back a month or two from the other when the time comes,” he explained.
