Scavengers Studio, an indie based in Montreal, showed off their debut game today at Microsoft’s E3 conference. The Darwin Project is a Battle Royale / Hunger Games-style multiplayer game, with the demo taking place in a snow-blanketed woodland arena.
Get bloody in a great PC multiplayer game.
With a chunky cartoon style reminiscent of games like Fortnite, Dauntless, and TF2, it’s filled with a healthy dose of violence. And, if the demo on-stage was anything to go by, it would appear that the studio have hopes of it catching on as some kind of esport.
The game was shown on Xbox One, but VentureBeat report that the game will debut as a Steam title in the fall of this year.
