Bethesda have released a new gameplay trailer for The Evil Within 2. The video features a lot of monsters, and gives insight into some of the game’s story.
We played some The Evil Within 2, and there were a lot of horrible things lurking behind us.
The trailer focuses on The Evil Within 2’s central character, Detective Sebastian Castellanos, who returns from the first game, and his daughter Lily, who’s being used as part of a plot by the evil Mobius corporation.
The video regularly moves between gameplay and cutscenes, showing off the game’s graphics as well as several of the grotesque monsters you’ll face. There’s also a pretty significant focus on combat, with a lot of weapons featuring in the trailer.
The Evil Within 2 releases on October 13 (which, importantly, is Friday the 13th) on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, and is available for pre-order now.
