Did you play The Inner World? It's a classic-style point-and-click adventure game that came out on PC a few years ago. It, er, follows a bunch of people who have flute noses. Wind is very important to them. Which is why the sequel, The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk, is titled like so. More importantly: we're giving the sequel away, so stick with us to find out how you can win.
The good news is that if you didn't play the first game then you can still enjoy The Last Wind Monk just as well. The only thing you're really missing is some background on the game's world and a couple of the characters - otherwise this is a separate story, for the most part. And we can get you up to speed there.
It takes place in Asposia, which is a hollowed space surrounded by an infinite expanse of earth - the opposite of how our Earth is a round mass with nothing around it. The air that the citizens breath comes from the three wind fountains around Asposia. The main character is Robert, who works at a wind monastery and can be a bit naive, but who also happens to the be the heir to the flute nose throne.
As to the story of the sequel, it concerns Robert as he tries to stop a cultist from overthrowing centuries of the flute nose dynasty. He has to recruit his friends around Asposia to help him face off against the dark forces plotting against him. The most important of them all being the titular last wind monk - all Robert needs to do is find him.
