Quick question: have you heard of The Journey Down. If you have, great - bit of news, the third and final chapter is out now. If you haven't heard of it then, golly, you are in for a treat. It's a three-part point-and-click adventure game with an Afro-Caribbean flavour - yes, something you rarely find in videogames.
The game follows a couple of gas station attendants, Bwana and Kito, as they head down through this dangerous world from its urban surface through to the jungles below. The reason they embark on this undoubtedly hazardous trip is to find out what happened to their long lost father, Captain Kaonandodo.
As you'd expect from a game in this genre, there are plenty of puzzles to solve along the way, which often lead to shenanigans on the part of the starring duo, and it's all wrapped up in a fantastic soundtrack - a mix of reggae and jazz. To get you started on this journey down, we're giving away 50 Steam keys for the first chapter of the game, meaning you can get a taste for it and decide if you want to purse the rest of the story in chapters two and three.
