If you’re a member of Twitch Prime – or Amazon Prime – you get free PC games, in addition to your usual bonuses on the streaming service and, of course, Amazon itself. The latest rotation of free games is live, and it’s another selection of lovely indies you might’ve missed out on over the past few years.
Heading up the list is Furi, a stylish boss rush game that drew loads of attention when it launched back in 2016. You’ve also got a blend of Zelda and Typing of the Dead in the typing RPG Epistory, a cartoony combat simulator in Bomber Crew, an action-puzzler about alien invasion with Mugsters, and an old-school point-and-click adventure title in Whispers of a Machine.
As always, the games will download through the Twitch client. The executables are typically completely DRM-free, so in most cases you will not need to leave the client running while you play – a certain bonus when you’ve already got goodness-knows how many other game launchers competing for your system resources.
