Twitch will now allow its Affiliates to offer subscriptions

Twitch is giving its Affiliates a taste of what it’s like to be partnered up with the streaming service. Starting this week, it’s allowing Affiliates to utilize the same subscription options it had previously offered only to Twitch Partners.

This means Affiliates will be able to offer three different tiers of subscriptions for their viewers at $4.99, $9.99, and $24.99. Streamers will be able to charge varying amounts for their content, not having to force anyone to go big with the most costly option first.

Twitch has slowly been working to offer additional opportunities for its Affiliates that seem to mirror much of what its Partners do, as earlier this month Twitch even offered some streamers the opportunity to sell games via their channel, earning a cut of purchase sales that successfully went through their channel. It’s a lucrative time to be a streamer, it seems.
