European esports gamblers are about to get a comprehensive book-maker covering the whole continent, thanks to a new partnership between Unikrn and French bookies RBP.

Most of the world’s biggest esports are also among the best multiplayer games on PC.

Right now, Unikrn offer real money esports betting in Australia and the UK, as well as worldwide free betting using their own virtual currency. Their new platform, which will be called Unikrn EU, represents their expansion into the wider European market.

It will begin its rollout early next year, and host skill and spectator betting applications, a tournament series, a casino group, and multimedia content tailored to esports fans. Expect Unikrn to leverage their partnerships with esports organisations such as BIG – a German group who own a successful CS:GO team – to produce that content.

Their new partners, RBP, are based in France, and are key player in the more conventional horse racing and sports betting markets, with over 300,000 registered customers and over a million unique visitors per month on their sites. “RBP will be a strong partner to Unikrn to help bring regulated, safe, and legal esports betting in markets across Europe,” says Emmanuel de Rohan Chabot, CEO of Zeturf and Zebet and co-founder of RBP.

Unikrn have also been granted a licence to operate in Malta, which “has some of the highest regulatory requirements and processes,” according to Unikrn CEO Rahul Sood. “They are by every measure the gold standard and one of of the most respected authorities for responsible and ethical wagering.” The deal has been in the works for a little over a year, and Unikrn will no doubt hope that it reflects the integrity of their platform.
