XCOM 2’s upcoming Chosen enemies in the War of the Chosen expansion look like formidable baddies. The latest trailer, showing off the Asssassin, depicts a chatty Cathy of a stealth-centric killer who can still likely beat you to a pulp.
The Assassin is one of three upcoming alien enemy types that you’ll have to square off against in the massive upcoming expansion, and unlucky for you, she’s great with either close or ranged combat. If you’re not paying attention, she can even kidnap a valuable member of your squad, and there are no milk cartons in the XCOM universe to slap pictures of their face on if they go missing.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen is launching on August 29.
