Yonder lets you customise your character before you head out on your journey of self-discovery across its open world. From there, you can do as you please, either deciding to chase out the murk that threatens the people of Gemea, or instead settle down to do some fishing, cooking, farming, or crafting.
It’s even possible to take on professions like carpenter, chef, and tailor and serve the needs of the nearby citizens. You can also befriend and adopt creatures, many of which will actually help you in your fight against the murk. You’ll need to become one with nature, too, learning animal migration patterns, seasonal changes, and the evolving weather conditions across the island’s eight biomes.
