You can now trade-in console games for PC games at Green Man Gaming

Green Man Gaming: now loaded.

Green Man Gaming have today launched a new UK trade-in service for Xbox 360 and PS3 games, which might be used to flog games in return for a PS4 or Xbox One pre-order. Or, better still, to circumvent the console cycle entirely and replace all of your redundant, non-compatible Xbox discs with lovely new digital PC games.

Trade-in a console game via the new service and you’ll get GMG Credit in return, which can be spent immediately on anything across the site – even before you’ve popped your discs in a (hopefully) nearby postbox.

“The Xbox One and PS4 announcements at E3 showed how passionately people feel about being able to unlock the investment they’ve made in their games and we feel GMG’s unique platform allows our customers to do just that and benefit immediately,” said GMG founder Paul Sulyok. Hear hear.

There’s also a £2 bonus for every game traded in over the next two weeks, which is nice.Current offers include £7.49 for Proper PC GameCrusader Kings II. Do you think you’ll be taking advantageof it?
